About
I offer playful, powerful, practical approaches to embodiment influenced by an eclectic amalgam of modalities, including my own personal creative practices. A certified teacher since 1994, I first worked as a manager at Jivamukti in New York City, and have explored many forms, primarily Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Embodyoga. I hold two 500 hour certifications and am an E-RYT 500 hour instructor.
I hold a B.A. in Writing, Women’s Studies, and Music from The New School for Social Research in New York City, and studied the spiritual practice of writing with Natalie Goldberg in Taos, New Mexico, and through The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University in Colorado.
I’m also a cancer survivor, a music worshipper, a cat lady, a tree hugger, and an unabashed believer in the transformative power of ordinary magics: words, breath, mindful movement, curiosity, and compassion.
